Lucas got stomach virus since Thursday. It started early in the morning around 6 am. After he finished his bottle, 20 min later he puked all over his bed. There were literary 6 oz of vomit all over him and his bed and it happened again..twice!! Since he didn't have fever, Titus took him to the daycare. Around 2:00 pm his teacher called me and said that he had puked twice and had a low fever. So, I called his doctor and went picked him up. His doctor said that we should give him pedialyte for 6 hrs and if he's not vomit during those 6 hrs, we can mix 1/2 formula 1/2 pedialyte. Anyway, as soon as he finished his 3 oz pedialyte, he puked AGAIN! So...off we went to Children's Hospital. After spending 4 hrs in ER and a urine test later, they finally told us that Lucas just have a stomach virus. But, he needs more liquid in his body and the only way he won't puke is to feed him 1 oz every 30 min. So, as of last night...me and Titus were walking zombie. Lucas is feeling LOT better this morning. He hasn't puke since yesterday and took 3 oz formula every 2 hrs. We are in recovery mood right now and thankgoodness for the grandparents...Titus' parents will stay with us and babysit Lucas for next week.
